This Cookie Policy is aimed at providing the user with information relating to cookies and use and how to intervene to reject them or delete them if you want it, bearing in mind that, however, disabling cookies, some features of the site may not work correctly as expected.

What cookies are and what they are for

Cookies are small text strings (files) that the sites visited by the user send to the device (usually to the browser), where they are stored and then retransmitted to the same sites on subsequent visits.
Cookies, in addition to allowing efficient functioning of the site and improving its performance, allow the user to offer a better navigation experience by allowing for example to store the set preferences (the language, the currency, etc.).
The use of cookies is therefore aimed at monitoring sessions, execution of IT authentications and the storage of information on specific configurations by users.
The blockage or removal of cookies could therefore cause incomplete use of the services provided by the site.

Types of cookies

Cookies are mainly distinguished in:

Technical cookies: They are used to allow navigation according to a series of selected criteria in order to improve the user's service (the choice of language, the products selected for the purchase or authentication to access confidential areas).
For these cookies, the preventive consent from the user is not required (pursuant to article 122, paragraph 1, of the privacy code, in the formulation in force following the entry into force of Legislative Decree 69/2012).

Profiling cookies: They are used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user in the field of navigation on the network and are aimed at creating user profiles. The Italian and European information provides that the user must be adequately informed about the use of profiling cookies and express his consent.

Further types of cookies concern the different period of time through which a cookie operates and are distinguished in:

Session cookies (or transitory): necessary to allow the safe and efficient exploration of the site. They are limited to the transmission of session identifiers consisting of random numbers generated by the server, are not stored on the user's computer and vanish to the closure of the web browser.

Persistent cookies: They are stored by the web browser and remain valid until the expiry date expected unless the user removes them before that date.

Cookies can also be first part, in the case of cookies created and readable by the site that created them, or by the manager of the site itself, or of third parties, in the case of cookies deriving from a site other than what it is visiting that installs them on the latter.
